This privacy policy explains which personal data we process on ibc-container.org, for which purposes, and what rights you have. Last updated: July 2026.
1. Controller

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich (Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany); a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. When you access the website, the server automatically processes technical access data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser identification) in order to deliver the website and to ensure the security and stability of operations (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted automatically after a short period. To protect the website we additionally use security software that checks accesses (including IP addresses) for attack patterns (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. Cookies and consent management (Real Cookie Banner)
We use the consent tool “Real Cookie Banner” (a plugin by devowl.io GmbH), which we operate on our own server, to obtain and document your consent to the setting of non-essential cookies (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR, Sec. 25 TDDDG). Your consent status is stored with date/time exclusively in the database of this website; it is not transferred to any third party. Non-essential cookies (e.g. for audience measurement) are only set after you have given consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with effect for the future via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
4. Audience measurement with Google Analytics 4
Only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Sec. 25(1) TDDDG) do we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics 4 uses cookies and similar technologies and processes, among other things, truncated IP addresses and event data on the use of the website. Transfer to servers of Google LLC in the USA is possible; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The retention period for analytics data is 14 months. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie banner.
5. Enquiries: quote assistant, contact form and email
ibc-container.org is a manufacturer-neutral information and brokerage portal. If you submit an enquiry via the quote assistant (“Request a quote”), the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, optionally telephone and company, your requirement details such as product type, quantity, delivery region and an optional technical specification) in order to handle your enquiry and provide the brokerage service requested.
Storage: your enquiry is stored as an enquiry record in the database of this website (internal processing, allocation and record-keeping).
Disclosure to suppliers: the purpose of the enquiry is to broker suitable offers. To this end we forward your enquiry including your contact details to suitable suppliers from our directory (manufacturers, dealers or reconditioners of IBC containers, as a rule up to three) so that they can contact you directly with an offer. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the service requested); for general contact enquiries without a brokerage request, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding).
Confirmation: you receive an automatic acknowledgement of receipt by email.
Retention: enquiry records are deleted once the purpose has been fulfilled and no statutory retention obligations apply, at the latest upon your objection.
Voluntary nature: providing your data is voluntary; without the mandatory details, however, we cannot provide the brokerage service.
Spam protection: our forms use local checks (including honeypot fields); no data is transmitted to third parties in the process.
6. Address auto-completion (Google Places via server proxy)
In the enquiry assistant you can optionally enter a delivery address. The suggestions are provided by Google Maps Platform (Google Ireland Limited). The request runs via our own server: only the search text you enter is transmitted to Google – not your IP address – and no Google cookies are set in your browser. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (convenience function within your enquiry).
7. Partner application for suppliers (B2B)
Suppliers can submit a non-binding application via the “Become a premium partner” page. We process the company and contact details provided there in order to review the application and to take steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Applications are stored as a record in the database of this website and deleted if no partnership comes about and no retention obligations apply.
8. Sending of emails
System emails (acknowledgements of receipt, internal notifications) are sent via an authenticated mailbox of our hosting provider using transport encryption (TLS).
9. Fonts and external content
Fonts are loaded locally from our server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or other external font services. Our pages contain links to external websites (e.g. supplier websites and international marketplaces); individual links may be partner links marked as advertising. When you click a link, the privacy policy of the target site applies; we do not transmit any personal data to the target site in the process.
10. Your rights
Within the statutory conditions you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20). You may object with effect for the future to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (Art. 21); consent given can be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out up to the withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Automated decision-making including profiling does not take place.
11. Data security and updates
This website is transmitted encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We adapt this privacy policy if the procedures used or the legal situation change. Last updated: July 2026.
